Novalja – Your Island Story: Discover Pag from a Different Perspective

Novalja has a new promotional film – “Novalja – Your Island Story” – a tale of the island that goes beyond postcards, taking the viewer into the heart of landscapes, silence, and adventure.

The film is a joint work of Hrvoje Jurić, a well-known travel writer, Mario Jurina, author of the Hiking Croatia blog, and video producer Tin Borovčak. It was created with the desire to present Pag through the eyes of those who experience it actively: walking, cycling, or exploring the sea by kayak. Scenes of dawn on the trails, views from the ferrata, secluded coves, and endless horizons create an atmosphere in which everyone can find their own story.

What sets this film apart is its focus on active and sustainable tourism. Trail running, hiking, cycling, kayaking – all of these activities are united under the Pag Outdoor project, a strategic initiative that transforms Pag into a destination for those seeking an authentic experience and a connection with nature.

That the film struck the right emotion is confirmed by the fact that it won an award at the TEF Festival on Krk (September 25–26, 2025), further cementing it as an example of high-quality destination storytelling.
